Quick Release large event pole retainers. These work in conjunction with the International Event Pole. Available from the end of March 2025

Further to comments made at the International Course Builders Conference at Burghley, we have developed a method of holding poles onto cross-country fences that is easy to use by Course builders and fence judges alike! In doing so they are horse-friendly and great if you use portable fences that can get knocked from time to time.

All that is required is 2 sections of this to be fixed to the side of a fence and it will hold it in place .. UNLESS it has been hit by a horse or rider and at that point, it will detach from the fence. This design will also conform to the British Eventing guidelines 2025. 

The Event Pole Retainers are made from cured lengths of PVC with an internal PVC Core and come with shaped washers and fixing screws.
